I actually studied Muay Thai for several years and while I was doing it, after training, myself and a group of guys would all go out to Buffalo Wild Wings or the local Wing House to watch the fights...
We'd always have a ton of fun and, looking back, the matches that we would look forward to the most were the fights that had the most controversy surrounding them or a back story between the two fighters...
You know what I'm talking about...when the rivalry starts outside of the ring and finishes inside the ring 👊
And this past weekend was no different...
There was a lot of controversy buzzing around the MMA world after what happened this weekend...
The main event of the evening was Connor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier...
Connor went in so cocky and before you knew it, the match was over and the win was given to Dustin Poirier...
There is a VERY specific reason to why Dustin won and Connor lost...
It's not skill...
It's not will...
It's not physique...
The reason why McGregor lost, was because what happened to him can happen to anyone... heck even us as entrepreneurs and we need to be super careful to make sure that it doesn't...

His EGO got in the way...And...this caused him to underestimate his opponent...
This happens to many successful fighters and entrepreneurs when they allow winning to go to their heads...

This is why, as I grow as an entrepreneur I try to always stay focused on being humble...regardless of how much success is given to me, because I know just as it was given it can be taken away...
